Here are a few important points to remember before you start:

1. Get a USB 2.0 flash drive smaller than 16GB and formatted as FAT32.

2. Download and extract the latest BIOS file from the website and rename the biggest file to "gigabyte.bin", and then save it onto the USB drive.

3. You can use Q-flash without the CPU and VGA and RAM. But if you've already installed them, you don't need to take them out.

4. Use Q-Flash to update the BIOS.

THANK YOU. I wasn't sure if I had to change the file extension from F5c to bin but it works!

Thanks, the renaming the file was missing from the last instructions I used. That did the trick!

Aorus Z690 master using Corsair Dominator 5600 as listed on QVL no post
Anyhow, used this method to update to latest BIOS and now works fine. Just to confirm on this motherboard no need to remove CPU or RAM.

Please do you think you can help me this problem? I have done the whole procedure the same but when I do the q flash my pc turns on by itself but it stays that way forever it doesn't restart it doesn't turn off or anything like that. In addition, it does not give me a video signal through any video port. What should I do?

None of the USB ports on the back of my AORUS X670 are labeled at all.
I have no idea which one is the dedicated Qflash port. I've tried them all.
The USB drive never lights up when the button is pressed, with the PSU on.
The HX1200 PSU fan will spin up for a second when Qfalsh is pressed, and that's it. If I press the Qflash button again it will try again, so I kow the PSU is still on and there is power there.

I finally found a port that would light up the USB drive for a moment, but same thing.... USB will light up for a second then go out. I even connected a Case Fan (load) up to the PSU. NO change.

Qflash don't work.
My motherboard don't work.
This is a pretty brick from the factory.
It stops on DDR 5 detect and won't go futher, and no video, no beep, nothing.
I've tried both Vegeance and Dominator RAM.
If I cna't get it to work I'm sending it back.

Well, the procedure is much more complicated. You can only use USB flash drives which capacity is from 8 to 32GB and, also, it must be USB 2.0 . Also, it must be formatted in FAT32 and the gigabyte file must be the only one in USB.

The AORUS Gaming 3 Pro x299 REV 1.0 doesn’t have the specific USB noted for Bios or a button for Q-Flash.

I was unable to get it to work. Turns out, I had the BIOS for the wrong revision. Check the motherboard for what revision you have. Also, the LED is tiny. I almost didn't see it.
