She got me at "if what you did yesterday really did matter" compared to other therapists that would say "what you did yesterday doesn't matter as you can no longer change it". That subtle difference is what helps me actually move forward and take responsibility for my future. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

If what you did yesterday really did matter, then what you do today matters even more.

Last night, I looked at an old photo of me and told him how disappointed I was in him. Then, I looked in the mirror and thanked him for my future self. It was therapeutic. Now, it's time to make tomorrow's me thankful!

In your book you mentioned that it can be really helpful if we can have a box where we put our precious belongings, things that can sooth us and comforts us in our rainy days.

I just wanted to tell you that your vidoes and your book are part of this box to me,
They give me strength, take my hand whispering in my ear that even if things are not okay, take your time, we will be better, things gonna be just fine~

Dr. Julie
I just want to thank you for making information so readily available to so many people. I’m coming out of a depression and I couldn’t have done it without your help! The mindset you have is so open and understanding, it has helped me give myself compassion and heal. It’s a new and refreshing attribute I’ve come across in a few key people like you and I love it! I hope to one day be like that.

I am 25 and grew up in a more traditional environment where the expectation was to be a stay at home mom and was taught a lot of self sustaining skills so I never even started to considered what I’d do with my life until late teens/early twenties.
At 21, I was newly married and very unexperienced in life, learning how to cope in a new family who is riddled with manipulative, narcissistic and manic attributes and doesn’t know how to keep boundaries. I had just arrived at a point where I realized I enjoyed working but didn’t know what career path to take. My husband and I were living in a studio apartment and working low salary jobs and building up debt which we wanted to abolish before I started school. So when I found that I was pregnant (unplanned and unprepared for) the day before my birthday, I went into a depression. During that pregnancy we moved in with family and there was some trauma I experienced from his family which sent me further into depression. We cut off communication with them and have been healing since.

Over the past year, your videos have helped me become aware of what I’ve been going through and what it means. Your videos and conversations with a couple of close friends, I’m finally at the point where I can take actions and work on doing more than bare minimum to get by. Thank you for bringing me to awareness because that’s the first step towards being able to change mindset and habits. Im now starting to thrive in my marriage, family, personal life and work life. This is only the start of my journey.
Thank you for your hard work and helping so many people like me who too may not know how to be a functional human at times.
