I wanted to cover a few important things I missed or was vague about in the last video. Also, there is some new skating at a different park for once!!!

You're the next professor. I've been skating my entire life (thanks to my big brothers and sister skateboarding back in the late 70's)and you bro.... Got it

Thanks Ben, I discovered your channel from the last review you did on the Disruptors, nobody else is talking about them. Mine came in yesterday but the weather has sucked, hoping to get on them soon. I'm a noob just getting back into skating but I appreciate the reviews. Subscribed, keep it up bro

All I skated in the 90's and early 2000's was GK trucks. Glad to they're back.

I just used to buy the Grind King king pins and modify my Indys or Venture trucks circa 89-90 (if memory services me correct). Never really liked their trucks. At one point the only way to get the king pins was to buy a set of trucks or mail order. Glad to see they are back!

Grindkings were the first trucks I'd seen with an inverted kingpin. A friend of mine used to only skate inverted kingpin trucks. His first trucks he ever owned were hand-me-down Grindkings from his dad, the ones with the blue bandana graphic on the hanger. After that, he skated only Krux with the exception of one pair of Indys. I think he'd be excited to know Grindking is back.

Just been checking out some of your tutorials. Really helpful. You are the most coherent and articulate skate blog at the moment. Thanks dude. P. S the insight into muscle development to pull off tricks spot on. 👍🥇

I been using GK kingpins in my Indies since they first came out in the early 90s and used to use GK Bridgebolts ..i have broken only one Bridgebolt mid 90s then been riding Shorty's Bolts but never broken GK Kingpins, i think are the best upgrade for any truck ..No hang ups, Longer grinds, Lighter trucks and get the most use out of your trucks =WINNER !!

Thanks for the detailed review of these Ben, I ordered a set a couple of days ago after watching your first vid. I skate the stage 7 Indy's sometimes too, really nice trucks (Rowley skates them still I think).

Inverted kingpins just make more sense. I blame the the skate tool industry for them not catching on.

I kinda wish you did more of a review on the original bushings. Or skated them longer to see how they are in a bit ha unless you really couldn’t get used to it

I skated my set-up with the Grind King Disruptors and they're fine. They do require a lot of lean before they can turn like Ben stated. It does take some getting used to for me. I found my Venture Worrest Awake 5.8 trucks to be more responsive in turning. So far these Grind Kings a nice change of pace. Also the loud squeaking was due to the pivot cups for me. Since I don't have the tool to remove the inverted kingpin to then put wax in the pivot cups I sprayed Silicone Waterproof WD-40. It is safe on plastic and did the job. No more annoying squeaks. Didn't have an issue with the current bushings but I don't skate anywhere near as good as Ben.
