Fat Challenge: Grind King Disruptor 6.0 (Spark) vs. Thunder 151 Team Hollow - which is heavier?

So I finally got around to doing this for you all who asked. Before everyone jumps to say how much heavier the GK6.0 is, bear in mind, the Thunders have hollow axles and kingpins...so that shaves a few ounces. Also, the Thunders are 8.75" vs. the 8.5" Grind Kings. So not entirely apples to apples.

Anyway, thank you guys for your patience. I'll put this info in my relevant video descriptions (as well as in comments, so those who asked can see it).

Also, please pardon the severely unkempt greaser hair. This was just a couple days after I passed the Registry and I was still kind of shellshocked.

Thanks! I'd been meaning to do that at some point, Gk's do feel light, I have a pair of G-7's, and the disruptors are coming tomorrow! I got the 5.0 because I enjoy shinners from skinny 7.75s.. Gk's won me over early on, the earlier baseplates were curved as well, the guy just nailed it when he designed them, they got better every time, went to get new gear and was mortified that any brand I was familiar with either didn't exist anymore or is a distorted likeness of it's former self. Congrats on x ray tech school! Look forward to next time, but do school first of course. Thanks for sharing, I thought I was alone out there. Do you remember when decks in the ccs catalog- the same deck, same graphic, same size shape etc but one was a wood $52, and the same one but "slick" was like $58 or $60 ish? I feel like a living fossil sometimes. Peace
