Thanks for the shout out. I'll send you a set to test . The production Lockers have many improvements from these and would love to hear your reaction!

Grind kings and krux were my favorite brands back in like 2003-2009 when i skated. Loved em both

This is really cool, been wanting to try out a pair of these.

It's innovative for sure. Not sure how I'd feel with grooves being already there and not ones that I created and suited to me. As someone that always drills an extra set of holes in my board to make the wheelbase shorter, the fact that they build this feature as part of the truck is pretty clever.
@2:55 yeah I feel like polished silver while generic always looks the nicest.
I've tried a few trucks but always end up going back to Indys and I feel like skaters are pretty stubborn when it comes to trying new things which is why our trucks haven't really changed that much in terms of design since the 80s lol.
Respect for GrindKing actually trying something new.

I will 100% skate these trucks to see for myself. There's a lot of innovation packed into these trucks. If they turn anything like Indy's or Thunders or Slappy's or Ace...each different, but each good in their own right...then it's already a great truck. The grooves are interesting and based on the shape of the axle it doesn't look like you lose grindable hanger material like you might if the grooved hanger had a traditional straight axle. And they look light.

I love the color, and i love the cuts. I think a more traditional shape hangar might be more desirable. Now I only want the orange because of the graphic on the deck i have now. But I think I want something that's more versatile in color

Yes venture did do an 8 hole baseplate model recently. Koston pro model called V8.

I have a few sets of older grindkings, I quite liked the g5 high. They always made solid and innovative products - inverted kingpins, bridgebolts, rocket bolts, axles that don’t slip, etc. these seem a bit out there for me, way less goofy than krepers. I can see the axle design in a standard hangar, so you could grind further down before hitting the axle. But idk, it kinda seems like buying jeans with holes in them already. They might be better on coping. I think they look kinda neat. It’s cool that they are willing to try something different.

The metal shaft isn't an anti-wheelbite device. It's supposed to make it less likely that you'd break the kingpin where they always break at.

Be super interested to see your review bud. Interesting concept.

I have the raw metal/silver Grindking Locker trucks, love them. The newer models have a improved hangar so the notches are less exaggerated. I did a review video for GK. I mostly skate ledges, manuals and transition. The 3 bushing system is dope, no pesky washers so the bushings have a consistent turn and stable pop. Basically you can get the turn of an Ace but with a more stable pop. Happy holidays 😊

I'm an old GK kid from way back in the early 90's loved em been riding the disruptor but broke 2 sets being on the heavy side so went to ace but so keen to try these, from the adjustable baseplate to the grooves and bushing place ment look rad can't wait to get a set 💯

Original GK's are my favorite trucks, the disruptors were good but I broke the kingpin on them. GK's have always grinded better then other trucks for what ever reason. Hoping to get in on the first run of these.

Regardless of what you think, im getting myself a set lol.

I think those are really dope. I can’t wait to see some people review them. I skated grind kings in the early 2000’s and want to try these for old time sake

All that matters to me is how well they work.

I would 100% rock them! I love my tensors but I'm really down for performance, these trucks are more of a tool than a skate board part, because of all the advantages and adjustments, I can't wait to get a set ! I could be wrong no doubt but I do think it's well worth trying it

I like the base plate and king pin. But i think id like a traditional hanger but with that diped axle. I like my groves not pre made ones

I would skate orange trucks, I have orange gullwings on a caballero board, but I also drive an orange car, maybe I’m just weird

They look cool in a gimmick kinda way but can’t imagine they’ll take off. I want them to be good tho
