We're in the heart of summer and it has been HOT all around the country. If you're like us, whether it be the pool or the lake/ocean, you're spending as much time in the water as you can to stay cool. But the pool can be such an invaluable tool for those of you who are looking to exercise in a safe, low impact way. So jump in the water and kill two birds with one stone! Get your body moving SAFELY while saving on that A/C bill! Dr. Lin is showing his favorite way to get a great ab workout in the water!

More aqua aerobic exercises please. I found the pool to be a much more effective way to strengthen my back muscles than anything I can do on land. My painful lower weak back thanks you 🙏 New sub here 👍

I just want to add, if you know before hand, that you're going to have orthopedic surgery....start doing these exercises before. I swam at home for 3.5 hours every day, for 5.5 months before my first surgery in October. I walked the moment I woke up and could exercise in the Hospital. I reported for Physical Therapy, 4 days later, and my PT said "I presented myself, as if I was 5 weeks out. The stronger you are, the faster you will heel.

I just complete 5 months of physical therapy & pool therapy for two knee replacements & one hip. Best exercise ever. I've continued doing these in our pool at home.

I'm recovering from a long bout with pneumonia and this video has been helpful now that the neighborhood pool is open I can do these exercises without interfering with other pool goers or other odd equipment. I can feel my core working and workout sore afterwards, but not overwhelmed and exhausted or strained. Thank you

Loved it! Been looking for some good exercise to get my flabby abs tightened up. I have a strong feeling that this one will work. I’ll check back in a week or two to update.

Thanks for this fine video. Like your other videos, it’s especially welcome because it’s medically informed, efficient, and has a light touch of humor.

Would please consider creating a 10-minute cardio water workout using both arms and legs. Anyone could do this alone and could repeat it once or twice for a 20-minute or 30-minute cardio workout.

Many water exercise “experts” on YouTube present a 20-minute or 30-minute workout, but it is hard to learn or memorize. What does one do, put a phone in your hand to follow along with the instructor?

Thank you💜 I did this starting yesterday then I seen your video today, I use a small round tube it was easy and fun on a hot day! 🔥 do you have one to make arms stronger? We can do all of this in water and it’s easier and cooling and fun at the same time. Thank you again.😊
