A guide for a full set X-01 Power Armor in Fallout 4 :D (Must be level 28)

Think difficulty plays a role in this. Tried this at level 43 on normal and only get 2-3 pieces of X-01 armor

Got the full set! TYSM! There was a glitch in the appearance of the armor but once I got into it went back to normal. Did this as soon as I turned level 28

I can confirm they spawn at 28+ when I stumbled on 4 pieces of it. A couple levels later I went here and got a full set of mk2 X-01

Disclaimer: this is luck based. But the X-01 armor has a chance to appear at level 28.

Thanks for the guide also for a second my armor looked like a T-45 but it fixed itself

There's an incomplete X01 Mk1 close to Jamaica Plain where you don't have to fight for it, it's in a pond of water (level 28 or higher).

8 years later following this tutorial, not even kidding you I found a full set of T 51 armor instead of the X armor kind of crazy wasn’t expecting a full set of armor like this, but I can’t complain, except for the fact that I wanted to wear the enclave armor

got scared for a second it showed it as t-45 but when i got in it the visuals turned to x-01 armor thank u!

The power armor for me was t-51 but when I tried to take it off the stand it was x-01 I’ve heard it’s not working for certain people so just be warned.

Once for all (after alarm type of ARMOR is setup)
T-45 = lvl 6-9
T-45b = lvl 10-13
T-51 = lvl 14-17
T-51b = lvl 18-20
T-60 = lvl 21-24
T-60b = lvl 25-27
X01 mk I = lvl 28-31
X01 mk II = lvl 32-35
X01 mk III = lvl 36+

I'm level 39 running a heavy gunner build (funny explosive minigun) so I shred through them and got a full set of mark 3 in about 3 minutes. Worth it.
