I've spend the last 2 days trying to create a successful economy between my settlments and I still only have 3 fully functionally settlments that still need lots of work. This game is like 400 hours of gamplay plus 400 hours of civilization building lol.

I use the x-01 maxed out with the jet pack and explosive vents. It's always nice to be able to fly up and stomp down killing everything around you or taking a deathclaws health down to like half.

I have a tip. You have probably already discovered this, but if you do the explosive vent legs with the jet pack, you can often jump and land to do damage frequently.

If you're worried about fusion core dependency (like I used to be), a good way to maintain and even exceed what you'd need to wear the armor pretty much all the time is to create what's essentially a clean water empire. Build industrial water purifiers (I personally have 8 in sanctuary) and you'll get clean water bottles on a daily basis. I personally get around 230 or so. The thing about purified water is that it's quite valuable, and you can use it as a currency of sorts, because a stack of 200ish is worth around 3k caps, more than enough to empty a shopkeeper of their usual 5 cores and even get quite a bit of ammo and materials on the side.

I'm definitely gonna mix and match different power armor sets on my armor, I feel like it would be boring walking around in full X-01 all the time, maybe have the T-60 helmet with the X-01 torso, and a raider left arm and a t-51 right arm, mix and match different mods to give it a more wastelandy feel.

Then again this is fallout and anybody can play however the fuck they want, hell, I'll probably keep the vault suit on the entire game tbh lol.
