Old video, but still helpful for turning on some older tech. Very easy to follow along for someone that's tech savvy, but i can relate to the folks here that don't understand this stuff. It's too fast for people that are new to this kind of tech or WiFi extenders in general. Still, i appreciated how smooth and to the point this was!

Thanks for this video. However you mention @5:55 that you can set this up as a standalone network or make it an extension of you current network. You show us how to make it a standalone but you don't show us how to make an extension of the current network. I was interested in how you do that

I wish instead of showing us how to set up as a 'stand alone' network, you provided instructions on how to make it work as an extension of our current network. The instructions that came in the box were no help in this regard and setting this. up as an extension was my main goal. I can't seem to find instructions anywhere for this.

Just out of curiosity, I have them set up and they are working as expected, but I don't see how I am supposed to connect to the devices through that URL I keep getting the same error. Therefore I'm unable to change the SSID . Just wondering if you ran into this issue or not.

Does placing the transmitter closer to the power panel make a difference? and the same with the receiver? Transmitter is in the house and the receiver is in the garage, do I want the shortest distance between the 2 as far as signal strength? Does this help make up for any appliance along that same line? Just making a general comment her for any electricians.
