Short Poodle description:
There is only one dog officialy recognized as a Poodle, but you can find this one breed in three different sizes: from the biggest to smallest it is standard poodle, miniature poodle and toy poodle. Their height can vary a lot, toy poodle can start at 9 inches and the largest standard poodle can be even 26 inches tall.

Poodles were used for many purposes through their history. They started as hunting dogs and water retrievers, but thanks to their very high intelligence, they branched out into performing dogs with traveling troupes and circuses. They were also very popular among royalty, especially in France. Today you can find a lot of poodles as service dogs, they can help blind people and they are great emotional support dogs.

My grandmother always had little white poodles. I remember them as being annoying, yippy, and their coat was too wiry to want to pet them. They were a lot of work, and not very pleasant. Kind of like my grandmother haha! Good video!
