Proud of myself, when I rejected Byju's Executive's offer for educational counseling of my child back in 2013 or 14. Their methodology is to create insecurity in Parents & child's mind that we are not good enough and only Byju's can help . They get parents contact number by conducting some crap exam in school .
Without this crap Byju's app, my child cleared JEE Adv, and joining India’s Premier institutes for higher studies.

The fact that they manipulated poor parents into taking loans when they didn't have enough money was the worst they could've done. I've heard numerous stories where they would persuade parents and force them to buy their courses. Truly outrageous acts 😡. I had hoped since then that this company must fall. Bcoz it was never an edtech company it was always a scam.

Aggressive and scare mongering marketing perhaps caused a lot more damage I think. In a 60 sec call from Byju first thing they start with is to try and scare the parents that their children are hopeless without Byju. Not sure who devised this strategy.
