I know this video is months old, but it occurred to me while listening, that most of us (myself included) have very little experience of just how dark the night was before gas and later electric lights. The night was terrifying and held both imaginary and real dangers.

Good idea to make a video about a smaller topic like this one, you don't often hear about it which is a real shame because such topics are really interesting. That's what I also like about your channel, you make videos about smaller topics that aren't covered that often. I wonder how people came to the conclusion that the weaknesses of vampires are stakes and garlic 💀. And of course there was another whole big ass vampire hunt. Interesting how different the tales of vampires were. In some tales the vampires came really close to something like a succubus, or how they only hunted children in some mythologies. I also didn't know that there were so many different variations, that some could turn into birds, butterflies or wolves instead of the typical bats. Quite different from how they are normally known.
