Sapphire, XFX, or Powercolor needs to make AMD exclusive motherboards. This is ridiculous.

Back in the day Intel was willing to pay Dell what, multiple billions across multiple years?

Yeah, I believe this even with some salt.

Nvidia isn't really that far off, if a manufacturer uses AMD Gpus, They Don't Stop shipmet because that would be illegal and considered monopoly, they just say that can't supply as much and reduce supply drastically to that aib/laptop/prebuilt pc maker and start delaying shipments until the other party gets the hint and cuts off AMD.

That's why as long as there are good AMD CPUs available I will buy and use them. For now 7600 is super fine.

And its shit like this that guarantees i buy AMD gear. If Intel dont think their gear can compete on a level playing field then why buy it?

Intel does this and Nvidia tried/partially succeeded. This is just another reason why I went flagship AMD rig this time around.

Intel rehashes old tricks. I still remember the non-descript white boxes some early K7 Athlon boards were shipped back in 1999, clearly not to anger Intel.

Yes, Intel does this with laptops where they throw huge amounts of cash at OEMs and calls them "joint development funds"

And people ask me why I don't buy Intel. Because of shit like this...

Intel might want to get sued again, it seems they didn't learn their lesson the first time.

Let's see if Intel could still sway board makers once the x3d chips come out...

Do you think this might have some bearing on why intel on windows is fine but zens are so weird and all over the place? If Intel could slip ms some cash to make them better, they certainly would the people to do it

Companies should be required to publish all back door deals.

I was looking at prebuilt computers for my dad and I noticed they are *all* Intel. I also noticed how common intel network cards are on motherboards. My motherboard has an intel card that constantly disconnects and I found out it has a design flaw, so the next time I put together a computer I looked for Realtek stuff and noticed how rare it is.

I wonder if Intel will play dirty when it comes to their discreet GPUs in future.

I have x570 itx. strix-i with the 5800x3d. I won't upgrade for a bit but I'm doing itx again. I love the small cases!
got a full waterblock on the motherboard in a Lian Li a4-h20.
6700xt I got on deal for 350 with last of us part 1 when it came out. I strapped two lian li al120 fans to the GPU instead of it's stock cooler and it works perfect!

I cannot afford anything expensive. My gpu before was a waterblocked Vega 64. I mined with it, bought 3 more and a 1080ti and then sold them all at the first crash at that time. Made ALOT off that one card.
It just was so hot with the water loop together and I didn't have the orignal cooler, I sold that for like 50$ loolool

cpu before was 1700 with full atx, corsair 540 for case. Killer/ac motherboard, I forget brand. It was cheap and worked great coming from a 4770k delided before that.

:Surprise Pikachu Face: Intel and Nvidia doing slimy and deeply ethically questionable back room deals in smoke filled rooms to unfairly undercut AMD. With all the money Intel and Nvidia spend to tear down AMD, one would think they'd be better off investing it in making more power efficient products and, in Nvidia's case specifically, buying more VRAM for their graphics cards.
