Galaxy A13 & A14: How to Force a Restart (Can't Restart or Turn Off?)

I show you how to force a restart (forced restart) on the Samsung Galaxy A13 (same for A14) 5G smartphone. You typically do this if you cannot turn off or restart the normal way maybe because the screen is not working properly. Hope this helps.

My Grandma's phone is black. Press and holding the keys and the back light comes on under a black screen. Even I plugged it in, it chimed but remains black

Yeah didn't work me. My power button will bring up my shutoff menu and we'll shut my screen off but it will not turn it back on and it will not force restart

Re A13, go into Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures > Double tap to turn on/off screen. This works, otherwise this phone is pretty much useles with the power button failing after not even two years.
