Stumbled on your channel recently. Received 4 mid-sized carbide tipped Easy Wood Tools as a gift and was running out of drawer storage so note to self - I need this. I’ve collected some 20+ tools from micro to my newest ones. So made a 15 slot rack of 1 1/2” PVC for the larger tools and a second rack of 1 1/4” PVC for smaller tools. The larger set sit on a 10” x 29” x 1/2” plywood plate. I cut each holder at 31 deg at 9 1/2” long and sanded each cut. The smaller set sit on a 6” x 29” x 1/2” plywood plate with each holder cut at 5 1/2” and sanded the same. I set the smaller set up off the bottom by 1” for chip clean out. Mounted it all on 5” x 30” x 1/2” plywood plate that is screwed to my lathe table. Holds all my tools for easy reach and works great. Thank you!

Brilliantly simple and effective. I like the additions of the mitered bottoms, they both aid in securing, and give the dust a place to go. It also kept you from having to adjust the saw from 45 degrees to 90 degrees between each cut. Awesome inspiration! Thanks!

Easy and efficient! I really dig the stuff you do to the videos too... Sound effects, fade in, etc. Your videos are some of my absolute favorite! Your earlier videos are cool too. I can't wait till the next one.

Finally! More PVC being used and shown on YouTube. There's a lot of time saving by using PVC instead of making something from wood.

Nice rack! LOL What a phenomenal idea cutting the angle at the bottom of the pvc. So simple but perfect!

Cool. Never throught about the angled cut at the bottom of the tool holders for keeping chips out of there. Will have to remember that one.

Great idea with the 45° angle at the *bottom* – that principle might be useful with other hollow, top-open things as well. Have to think about it … Thanks for sharing

I was considering something just like this the other day for my shed! I was going to put some dense foam at the bottom of the rack for the tips to lay in, with the piping higher up just in case I got over zealous when putting a tool back or grabbing one, I don't like having things sharp side up.
