Wolverine Almost Killed EVERYONE

Wolverine’s EARLY Death = End of the World?

We learn Wolverine’s death in Logan results in his timeline almost getting erased since he was an anchor point.
Why is this?

I think the deeper meaning is, Logan was not meant to die in 2029. He was meant to live much longer, but his own suicidal actions led him that way.

That’s because the adamantium poisoning wasn’t the only thing killing Wolverine. The GMOs added in food, primarily corn syrup, suppressed the mutant gene, preventing the next generation of mutants. But it is also widely believed to have been the primary reason for Wolverine’s healing factor decreasing.

But instead of addressing his rapid aging and decelerating healing factor, he continued to drink despite the corn syrup.

If Wolverine actually cared about his health, no question he would have been able to smell the contamination and live off of naturally grown food and hunting. But by allowing himself to succumb to the adamantium disease due to his slowed-down healing factor means he died before his time. This is how he looks at age 191 without a slowed-down healing factor, and this is how he looks at 197 due to the illness.

And if he’s the anchor point of that universe, that means him dying before his time set up his timeline for an eventual collapse.

The saddest part about Logan is how suicidal, depressed and traumatized he was. It’s implied that he had PTSD from the first movie but it’s clearly gotten much worse in Logan. He said he thought of killing himself several times. Probably the only thing that stopped him was that he had to take care of Charles and no one else could. It makes sense that he could smell the GMOs in the food and alcohol but he just didn’t care.

Had he been in perfect shape, Logan would've been an entirely different movie.

Can you blame him. Dude has been through more trauma than anyone could handle. Seen a lot of his friends die. He was done who wouldn’t be at that age

It makes sense because in deadpool 3 . Old man logan cameo shows up. Meaning adimantium poisoning wasn’t the reason

That GMO theory has always disturbed me, coz the guy who's mutant power is healing, from gun shots, buck shots, knives, trains, optic blast beams, drowning, freezing, diseases, molten adamantium, nuclear explosions has his healing factor affected by food poisoning... in theory, that'sthe one person it can't and shouldn't affect, just like the X men animation and the mutant virus.

I think that what killed Logan was his whiskey, it’s made from grains, which we now had the cure in them.

The adamantium poisoning was only killing him because he drank whiskey which is 80% corn which has the mutant suppressing drugs

The poisoning only started killing him after the GMO’s

Okay here’s something that surprises me, how can a movie be this good and also have another movie be even greater: DP3 that’s how

I also think people misinterpreted the Ancor being premise. It's not that Logan had to live forever or be alive before everything. It's that you, as an ancor being, have time flowing around your decisions when you are alive. Your life, your quest, your death.

When they were fighting the Sentinels in 'Days of Future Past', Logan was still perfectly healthy and although the mutants were being hunted to extremes, it was the proper timeline. When Logan changed the past, though, he gave himself more time and more hope for a grander future. But since the Sentinels never rose to power, humans created the virus, damaged the food... certain mutants may have rose to power, who never did before. And as a result, in the end, wolverine was bitter due to feeling like changing things just made the future more desolate. And he got sick.

The tva would have normally intervened earlier and simply snatched up wolverine and pruned the timeline, replacing a new Logan and letting time play out. The ancor being restored, time moving as it should, all things in place. Logan dies fighting Sentinels and a new ancor being is born.

But after loki s2, they no longer do that. So the anchor being dying in the wrong timeline, when he's not supposed to, after basically giving up; that's why the whole timeline was disappearing.

It wasnt the gmo food. It was the gmo in the corn in the whiskey. It doesnt matter now. The new logan is the new anchor being. Pay attention at the end. The woman from the tva told wade that his timeline was correcting.

That's a lie, the guy said he was over 200 years in Deadpool & Wolverine

Reading between the lines, Logan was the anchor being because he was the only one keeping the Fox universe alive. When he died, the Fox universe was slowly going away with him. No other character would’ve generated as much hype. It was on the nose honestly.

Fun fact: considering adamantium is supposed to be chemically and physically indestructible, outside of a narrow set of circumstances, the idea it could even begin to poison Wolverine is actually utter bullshit. I mean, it can neither rust, erode, nor dissolve in acid, so how would it be able to affect anything aside from his weight and susceptibility to Magneto's powers?

That’s what I also think, if the timeline is dying, that means Logan was NOT meant to die yet

You’re reading WAY too much into this. The idea that the Universe was dying was a reference on by interest in X-men movies waning after Hugh Jackman stopped being Wolverine.

His death brought the destruction of the Fox X-men movies. Deadpool and Wolverine saved the timeline with the movie.

It was his whiskey drinking because they put the mutant cure in corn and an ingredient in whiskey is corn so he drank his healing factor away

They treated him like the best Logan but doesn't causing an entire timeline to vanish make him the worst?!

Logan was a wolverine that not only lived threw the xman all dying but was given a second chance in 'days of futures past' and lost them a second time with Charles being the cause. He was tired and wanted it to end like Hugh Jackman wanting to end playing the role, not seeing more he could do with until deadpool ha!
