The adamantium bullet didn't kill him, only destroyed his memory. Injecting the alloy won't kill him, it will only make him immobile for a while. You can't remove his healing power by extracting it from his claws, that mess was added by whoever wrote the Wolverine movie. Lady Deathsticks is a adamantian cyborg, she not a mutant and has no powers, that was all the cybernetics in her body. The bullet was not meant to kill him, it was to erase his memory, similar to the adamantium chip at base of his skull to block his memories. That's how he knew Captain America before but don't remember from where. The only sure Fire way to kill Wolverine is use his Muramasa Blade on him. It will cut off his healing Factor. Wolverine used his Muramasa Blade to permanently kills sabertooth after Sabertooth ruined his birthday for the last time.

In the comics Lady deathstrike isn't a mutant she does have an adamantum skeleton like wolverine but she also has cybernetic enhancements that give her an array of abilities. Healing factor being one of them along with speed, strength, agility and she can telepathically interact with computers.

This dude says Wolverine's power is his claws. I can't even take this seriously, because that's so wrong. The claws are part of his anatomy because they were originally his bones. His superpower is his healing factor. Period.

I think the movies severely nerf Wolverine, and make plot devices/ plot armor to progress the story.

I don't see how it would be physically possible to take a mutant's powers, by physical means.

Second Wolverine is so freaking crazy strong. The movies don't and haven't yet done justice to Wolverine period.

The adamantium was fused to his skeleton. Lady Deathstrike had adamantium injected into her body cavity. Wolverine's self healing factor was not being removed, his bone marrow was being extracted. Bone marrow creates white blood cells and red blood cells. So the bone marrow is why he is so resilient. So, if he contracted a mutant strain of leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, or myelodysplastic syndromes, he more than likely will get extremely ill, and even possibly die. Wolverine "died" by encasing him in liquid adamantium then it hardened!
