Bard is one of those characters that comes and goes but is an important character at just the right time. I'd like to hear more about Bard and his family. Live in Erebor or Dale, tough one. I think Dale but with access to Erebor. Both are a wonder.

I always get a bit sad about the fate of the dwarves. So in my head cannon they live prosperously with the men and eventually unite with the other dwarf realms

I'd have to choose Erebor. The Dwarves have always interested me the most out of the Tolkien races.

Never understood why the dwarves marched their army out of the gate to fight in close combat. The mountain give them the perfect defense and choke point to repel any attack.

Bard is an excellent idea. Looking forward in hope.

Dale. Definitely Dale. I like sunshine which seems a bit lacking under a mountain.

I loved the art direction of Dale in the films and in it's heyday before Smaug, I'd have lived there. Equally the homes and living areas of Erebor ware quite intriguing. I'm not a huge fan of underground living but I'd take an apartment in Erebor during a visit, but I'd have a home in Dale, lol.

I love Dwarven buildings and architecture, but I would go with Dale. I need to see the open sky and the sun rising and setting

That was a hard level in the Battle for Middle Earth 2, as evil the Dwarves just spamming you with mass attacks while you can barely make enough money to hold them off or as good, those two open doors you can't close and even if you put a lot of troops there the enemy just runs right through them as if they were never there.

It's been a while since I've been here but I'm happy to see you guys well over 100k subscribers again! Having to make a new channel would break a lot of people but you guys didn't let that stop you.

Congrats guys! Well done.

You'd have to plant Meadows of snowbell flower, that's white flower black root. And baby's breath, is the other seedling you saturate the Meadows with. The easiest way to do it is you a map The thermals of your stratospheres, then you build a gyrocopter you welded together with your 2-in copper pipes and a two-stroke dirt bike engine and then you pull up a 16 kilo bag 16 ft above the proper thermal that you want to drift through and just slowly release the pressure of the seating and you saturate the whole valley at the right point on the right day. About 45 minutes from beginning to end and you seed the whole valley.

Definitely would live in Dale. Who wants to live inside all day?

Not just that but a trade city gives you access to a variety of fresh foods and new products

Considering how close they are, Both is a fair option. One could even visit Lake Town on Occasion.

I agree. Bard is absolutely a character I'm very much interested in knowing more about.

I've gradually formed a theory about how the races of elves, dwarfs and hobbits "faded." Rather than becoming extinct, they gradually interbred with humans. Aragon and Arwen's union is one example: their children were elven and human. I'd find it hard to believe that they were the only example of an elf and a human marrying. I don't think unions between dwarfs and humans is unlikely, and hobbits were the most humanlike of the other races. I always remember how Merry and Pippin became exceptionally large for hobbits after drinking entwash; who's to say they or their descendants didn't marry human women?

Potential topic: What was the afterlife for Dwarves? Obviously Men had the “Doom of Men”/“Gift of Illuvatar” and the Elves would be reborn in the Halls of Mandos, but what happened to the Dwarves when they died?

Erebor, for sure. I love my dwarven folk too much to ever think of being apart from them.

What-if video idea for you to do:

What if Gandalf never fell at the Bridge of Khazad-dum and continued with the fellowship to Lothlorien and on forward?

I had no idea Dain Ironfoot was killed during the War of the Ring. Very interesting.
