Is it necessary to install gparted on usb/cd i mean what if i install gparted on ubuntu directly and then complete the

Can i dual boot Windows and Ubuntu and use this method just to delete windows?? I'm having troubles understanding how the partitioning works on linux... And I can't install without it

Nicely done. I would probably recommend backing up data first just in case something goes wrong.

My Ubuntu doesn't start, it fluctuates .
And even windows 10 doesn't start, black screen appears, what should I do, help..

Did it with Win10 and Ubuntu 18.04 with Gparted mounted on usb key. Still works ;) thanks a lot !!
In fact I dont understand how it works cause it seems we delete the grub partition ? Does that mean that grub still exists background and if needed we can set it to appear again ?

before seeing this video, 1 hours before i accidentally deleted the entire c drive partition of 215 mb using gparted while at the same time resozed it to 199 gb, recovering 16 gb and changing 16 gb format to ext4. Later i booted in windows to find it surprisingly unharmed and operating at 215 gb in c drive after a short recovery/update of 5 min. May be just deleting the partition does not cause any data loss ??

I would like to delete my windows 10 partitions and keep Linux Mint, but my Linux swap partition is between the Windows 10 and the Linux partition, can I safely move it?
