How to install Linux (Ubuntu) & Remove Windows

This video demonstrates the installation of Linux on your Windows PC. In this beginner-friendly tutorial, we have covered everything you need to do to install Linux on your computer. We will install Ubuntu, the most popular Linux-based operating system, on a computer running Windows 11, but the same steps can be followed on a 💻 computer running Windows 10.

The 'Erase disk' option will delete all data and partitions, such as the C, D, or E drives in your Windows system. Everything will be deleted, so be sure to back up your data using external memory or cloud storage.

One thing I discovered in the process is that on certain systems, it is not enough to merely turn off bit-locker through the terminal, windows automatically enables it after every restart. I had to go into the windows settings and find the "encryption" section. Once there, you have to click the bar where is says enable bit-locker. From there it will go through and decrypt your computer which takes about a half an hour but it worked and I could finally move on in the installation process.

Hi! i kinda have a problem where i am stuck at phase 4 of installation that says "updates and other software", i did select default installation and it just stuck there
Apparently even before booting into ubuntu there's some command lines that kinda says "command error: read PMA" and "ACPI bios error:(bug)"

My drive is clean( but its HDD) and doesn't have any issues

Thank you so much dude, initially i got the error like "casper/vmlinuz not found" i taught there was some problem while moving the file, then figured out that vmlinuz file was not imported properly while booting the usb, again booted the usb and started the laptop, it worked properly without any issues❤
