My mom is mid 40s. I was a server recently. She was trying to set up a dinner for 12 people at a restaurant. When I asked if she called ahead, she said no. I told her we need to call ahead so they have time to accommodate us and they would appreciate it. She said no, they don’t take reservations. I still called.

Guess what? It would be an hour wait and we had to go somewhere else. Because they had a party of 60 taking up most of the restaurant.
