I pay for YouTube premium but I'm someone who plays YouTube almost constantly in the background. I will listen to your podcasts and other things while cooking, cleaning, relaxing and playing games so for me, it is beneficial. Happy to pay to not listen to over an hours worth of advertising a day. For others, I imagine, yes, the house wins.
