A good friend of mine's dad was retired SF, gotten recruited by CIA, and he would just randomly, without notice, dissappear for a week to 4 months. He's the one the informed me that the CIA has more black bag and special teams than any other government agency, and since they're not identified as a military they don't have to abide by Geneva.

LSD can be a profound experience when used on occasion, however I couldn't imagine how someone would potentially react or behave after being unknowingly dosed.

That is just so messed up.

There have been a couple of occasions when I was younger we were tripping and not everyone was having the best experience, but on those occasions at least you know you're tripping, and you know you will sober up eventually. Sure, you might be having a bad trip but at least you know you're on something. Now imagine NOT knowing? that has the potential to be horrifying - especially giving someone a mega-dose? wow... I couldn't imagine the nightmare they were living and how long it lasted.... I've personally never had a bad experience, however I could picture what a bad trip may look and feel like, then factor in you don't know that you've been dosed and don't know what's wrong with you - so I could see how it could affect someone for the rest of their life... But I think the "not knowing" part is what has the real potential to send someone down the wrong path, because had they known they were given something - at least they would have something to point to, instead of believing they've lost their mind or there is something extremely wrong with them medically, which I would imagine would induce massive anxiety... I wouldn't doubt some of the "test subjects" were scared to literal death..
