My Italian meatballs recipe is just like a giant hug from Nonna. A mixture of quality veal and pork mince combined with the perfect amount of fresh parsley and cheese (a tonne of both!) as well as moist artisan bread will create the most delicious Italian meatballs you have ever tasted, period. This recipe uses my Nonna’s soffrito (blended my way) which adds the sweetest aroma and flavour hit you can imagine. Try my recipe for your next Meatballs night and compare them to yours…I bet they will quickly become your families new favourite (don’t worry you can pass the recipe as your own – what’s important, is you pass it on to your family to share too!).

You are the first person I've ever seen other than my grandma who soaked the bread in the water and squeezed it out for making meatballs! ❤️ I prefer them fried though. I think it brings out more flavor.

Just made these an hour ago! I’m good at baking but not cooking.. the instructions are easy enough to follow, the meatballs turned out tender and moist! My little one ate half a batch already (I made each meatball weighing 35g each)!!! Thank you so much Vincenzo!!😊

I love the use of puréed carrots as a sweetener, not sugar. I've been adding sugar for years and I'm a bloody chef! Never again! Thanks 4 the tip, dude, I've learned something👍

Vincenzo made these a few days ago and omg! So good! I had to use all beef as I cannot eat pork but they still turned out amazing. My husband says they’re the best. I made extra to freeze and my son and husband asked to have them two days in a row instead of freezing them. I think that means two thumbs up! Thank you as always for your lovely recipes.

Phenomenal recipe! I really love how you sprinkle technique guidance throughout (eg moisten palms while making, shake the pot instead of stirring), those make a HUGE difference and help us level up as cooks as well as follow this recipe better. Great work! Your Ciabatta recipe is next on my list to try!

I made these last night. I have been using Pierre Franey's (Hotel Experience) meatball recipe for the last 30 years. Mine always come out dry. No bread crumbs, just parmesan so quite expensive to make. Pan fried so they burn easily. The family just hates it when I make meatballs. Your recipe is easy and the results are very good. I also like the fact that I can oven cook these slightly in advance, then finish in the sauce in about 20-30 minutes. This gives me a lot more flexibility when serving. Thank you very much for creating this video and the time you must have put in to get this delicious and foolproof! My wife went to secondary school in Italy hence knows what is good. Your sauce ingredients (carrot, celery and onion) are her favourite. I usually make a straight tomato sauce which she endures but does not enjoy. Yours is authentic and appreciated. I make your style when I am after Bolognese sauce but will now switch to it for almost everything. It is just better than straight tomato in most cases. Thanks again!
