almost identical to my grandma's recipe ❤ i think the most frustrating part of making meatballs is that the meat-to-bread ratio is the most crucial part, yet you have so little control over it bc there's no way for us to standardize what 'half a loaf' of bread means 😅

goes to show, that's why no one makes them better than Nonna ! after decades, she can just eyeball all the ratios to the extent that every single batch tastes the same.

My family has the same recipe, only that we use ground turkey instead of beef due to religious reasons haha I my aunt’s meatballs the most lol
