Strat VS Jaguar - Guitar Sound comparison

Same amp, both neck pickup and full tone!
Wich one sounds best?

For the Jag this only showed the muted "rythm circuit" position. Really not comparing the 2 very well

I’m in love with the squier bullet mustang it’s fantastic, only £114. I have a jag but the squier bullet mustang rocks hard for that price. You don’t need an expensive guitar to sound good …that’s a fallacy

Strats sound better off the shelf ime but jaguars, because of all the switches, extra pots, and ease of working (you can take the metal plates off to access switches/pots without removing the strings/neck) on them makes them better overall. They are the modders' dream guitar but they require a lot of tweaking to deal with bridge and buzzing issues.

I'll always have at least one of each on hand though

Why dies that strat sound so bright? Jaysus ..its in The fifth position, too. Sounds like youve put the neck pickup on, and dimed the tone pot on the amp.
