Uphill Running Technique Tips and MOTIVATION

What scares you about running? Is it the hills? Is it the uphill motion? Do hills make you tired? THEY SHOULD! You’re fighting gravity, dirt, mud, sometimes, snow, and yes, your biomechanics. If your biomechanics are not close to picture perfect, your uphill running is going to much more difficult than it needs to be. Forefoot striking is the easiest and most natural way to ascend the hills and mountains. Basically you are creating a biomechanics spring with your forefoot, fascia tendon, and right on up to the soleus and calves. Over time, with light springing in place on a slope, you will build up the strength and suppleness that you need for ascending these mountains in front of you.
