I just moved back to the mountains after three years in a flat area. Yesterday I ran a mountain I used to jog effortlessly and was dying in the first km :D . This video came just in time. :)

How does the incline degree of the hill determine how much you lean forward? In other words, what is the relationship between the incline of the hill and the lean of the runner?

Forces the foot into always striking the ground in dorsiflexion making hills that much better.

Hm, Sage. Thanks for this vid. I am very interested in hillrunning, because I'm bad at it. After seeing the footage of you and of the spanish guy, I expected that you would make a comparison, or use the footage to explain something about the difference between ideal and actual running style while running uphill.

I’m running 60 miles a week, with a 15 mile long run, and 2 interval workouts per week. I run 7 days a week, what do you expect I will run in the 5k when I peak in October?
