Sometimes all you need is a little love and patience to push you to new experiences. I learned how to drive a manual car by buying my own, but you can take a much smaller risk! What's the last thing you did that scared you?

I've been driving manual for 10 months now. It definitely becomes muscle memory, and you enjoy the control you have on your car. You really focus more on the road after you pick up enough skill.

I was terrified of manuals. It was really scary since most of the time i was going to drive in heavy traffic. But once i got behind the wheel, i could feel the car and its engine. Its like after a while, you and the car become one. I have never experienced this with automatic transmission. You’ll love it.

I too bought a manual car without ever having driven manual, watching this brought flashbacks to driving home the first night, scary as fuck! I don’t regret it though, cheers to being bold!

Just recently started driving manual. It didn’t take as long to learn as I expected. It really is so much more fun though. You don’t realize what you are missing out on driving an automatic.

Lol where I'm from, in order to drive a manual, you have to do your driver's test in a manual (manual licence)

i did the same thing today. i ended up in the middle of Chicago with no option but to drive out of the city whether i wanted to or not. also had stop and go traffic to deal with. it's definitely worth doing. also the BRZ is sick

ive worked at carvana for almost 2 years now and going into the job i had never driven manual before, whenever we had a manual car i would beg to practice on it. shoot forward to about 4 days ago i bought a honda civic si while still not being very confident in my manual driving abilites. i loved this video, i was really able to relate to feeling the pressure of driving stick

That’s awesome, my first time driving a manual was scary too. Now I love it. Congratulations on doing something different a lot of young people today would never try.

I did this exact same thing! But my wife (then gf) was with me and she had no idea how to drive a manual either. Oh BOY what an adventure that was.

Just got mine last monday 2018 honda sport hatchback 6 speed, and I have to say your start from stops in this vid were very good lol I stalled 2 times on the last
1/3 of my trip home off the lot and still. My friends say I should have saved myself the anxiety and got a auto but I wouldn't trade it for anything even if I'll stall it 100 more times

You'll know you got the hang of it when you are taking a drink of something, light goes green and you dont spill it or rush to get going in 1st

The intro is true, it applies to anything in life. The only real failure is not trying!

Adriana. Congratulations on choosing a magnificent car more to the point a manual. I have been driving for twenty years and all my cars have been manual. I only drove an automatic car twice. Trust me you're going to have a lot of fun if not already, driving your Subaru. You have got an incredible taste.
