BREAKING: Tropical Storm Milton forms in Gulf | LiveNOW from FOX

Tropical Storm Milton has formed in the Gulf of Mexico and will likely strengthen into a Category 2 or 3 hurricane before making landfall in Florida, the National Hurricane Center said Saturday.

The storm is still days out from landfall, but the current track shows possible landfall along the Gulf Coast of Florida, including Tampa and St. Petersburg.

Boy! They really blew this one! All I was hearing on Friday was that this was either going to be a big rain maker for south Florida or at best a tropic depression by the middle of the week. I wake up on Saturday and now we have a full blown tropic storm in the Gulf of Mexico! To be honest I sort of expected a TS to either form in the western gulf or enter the gulf from between Cuba and Mexico. For FL, GA, SC, NC, TN, and VA I'd be prepared for this storm to follow the exact same path as Helene and make preparations. At this stage in recovery in these areas it would be essential to make preparations for a repeat as we have weeks left in the hurricane season left.

My heart goes out to these people and their families Who Just got hit with the Catagory 4 hurricane only a week ago, and now they don't even really Get much Of a chance to recover or rebuild. Everything is about to be gone, and it sucks nobody can do anything to stop it.
