What's messed up is that there are some religious people out there that think outlandish stuff just like this and would do messed up stuff like this to get into heaven maybe not quite as severe but there's definitely some nonsense that religious people have convinced themselves of that could potentially make them a danger to others and honestly it's not very hard to convince religious people to put others at risk or potentially harming their loved ones as long as you dangle the possibility of salvation or getting into heaven in front of their face and there have been multiple instances of the church covering up disgusting things and also in the past committing mass murder so as you would say there are a lot of reasons why I'm not religious
