At 7:00 you talk about cost of LSAT prep... I was also determined to spend no money on LSAT prep, and used Khan Academy only for the first 6 months, with my highest practice test score being 158. I wasted 2 LSAT attempts ($400 total) and my highest official score was 155. That would have meant taking out up to $180K in loans to attend an unranked law school. The day I got the 155, I attended a free LSAT Demon "Don't Pay for Law School" class, where one of the co-founders said something that changed my life: "It's up to you whether you use our free resources or one of our paid plans, but one LSAT point translates into $10, 000 in scholarships." That made me realize it was totally worth it to pay $295 for a month of their top tier product, Demon Live. I retook the official test six weeks later and scored 163--or, +8 points from where I was after 6 months of Khan. So, I spent $295 to earn $80, 000 in scholarships. I "got greedy" and kept using LSAT Demon--sometimes paid, sometimes free--for another 6 months until I got 170+. The cost of law school for low scorers is exponentially higher than the cost of even the most expensive LSAT prep--and LSAT Demon is way more affordable than Kaplan, Princeton Review, LSAT MAX, etc. I envy anyone who can get to 170+ with free resources, or anyone who can afford to pay sticker at any school that admits them, but for me it was a tiny investment that will pay $$$$ millions in dividends over the span of my entire career. I am glad that Khan Academy exists, and I think Sal Khan is a SAINT ⚜(like me, he's from NOLA ), but it can only get people like me so far. If anyone watching this got a 170+ using Khan only, I commend you! 😇

At 5:50 you said that after your first test, you can't cancel. That was partially correct, but two important notes: (1) you always could cancel your test within 6 days of taking it, before receiving your score, and you can still do this at no charge (except the cost of the cancelled test, now $215) & (2) score preview, which costs $45 before test day or $75 after test day, was formerly only available on your very first LSAT, but now (as of August 2022) it is an option for *all* LSAT test takers. In either case, schools will see "CANCEL" in place of a score--whether or not you used score preview or just cancelled because your gut said it was a bad test experience. 😊

I’m going to be honest, i’ve tried the Lsat trainer and it helped a little bit with clarifying things especially reading comp but score didn’t go up from 145. I took the official Lsat 2 months into studying ofc without prior knowledge of when to take it and scored 139. I started using 7sage for logic games a few weeks ago but there’s not much confidence in me going back to a practice test with an increased score. Feeling very hopeless

For anyone deciding which LSAT prep to use - DO NOT USE BLUEPRINT!!! If I have opted for LSAT Demon and 7SAGE, I would have a much better LSAT score! But I got an A to my first choice law school and I'm already finished with this cycle.

Hi Kenzie, did you go to the law school in your city? or did you move to a different state? I am going to apply for law school this year and really enjoying your videos. Thanks!
