I am in china every year. On the surface you don't see a severe economic crisis. But if you talk to locals and have insights from family and friends then you get the desperation. Especially among the younger generation

As an Essential worker, a service technician, for hospitals, police, fire, trucking, and many other offices my pay during the first entire year of covid was cut 20% and after a year it got restored and since then I've got a $1 increase. I lost over 15K 1st year and only up 2k since 2020.. Covid killed small business. I work for a office coffee service and we do hospitality and restaurants too. I am a espresso machince tech, ice, water, coffee, grinders, etc... Master tech of 25 years. Covid killed the company I work for who lost 5 to 6 million in yearly sales. Its a 20million a year company with 23 employees. use to have 32 pre covid.
