There are three categories in business; a craftsman, a manager and an entrepreneur. Many business of owners merely create a job for themselves. Even if you are acting as a creative director you are acting as a manager and not an entrepreneur. Why to craftsmen evolved to managers (art directors) and they still aren‘t putting on the hat of an entrepreneur? An entrepreneur has one job to do… generate income and that is basically it.

Rebecca's humility is so admirable. Whether you're 15 or 50, the willingness to say "I don't know, but I want to learn" is key in moving forward. Great job Chris and Rebecca!

So much wisdom it is head-spinning! I felt as if Chris was talking directly to me. It definitely motivates me to do these things, as I can relate to Rebecca's situation so much. And cheers to Rebecca for growing tremendously since the beginning of this series! I can see how much more outgoing and confident she has become, and it is wonderful to see her business really starting to take off. Keep up the great job, Rebecca! Chris, you are the master guru!

I'm so glad to see an update on Rebecca. I love how Chris just spilled all of this useful knowledge and asked Rebecca questions that really made her stop and think about what she is doing. I really love that Chris holds people accountable for doing their research and helping themselves. The point made about people wanting an answer in the easy way made me do a slow clap in my cubicle. People know what they need to do, they just need to learn how to make themselves do it.

Hey Chris, I notice your note.
"How to take note" maybe it's good topic for a future video?

Yay! Rebecca is back! This episode came at a good time as I losing momentum on what I needed to do. This lit a fire under my arse too, so I'm with you Rebecca! Hope you're grasping social media now and if you still need help, you have the Futur community here to lend a hand if you need it! (I'm sure Chris will still want you to it by yourself though haha).

I have been watching coaching episodes for about 3 days now. These episodes with Rebecca, I am feeling like I am on that chair as Rebecca. My story is kind of like her, except that I am just looking for answers to my questions, and building up my confidence. Thanks to you guys, I am starting to build a Strategy map to make an advancement. I have this feeling that I could do it.

I can’t believe I only just found your show. If I’d started watching you earlier I would’ve been spending more time taking in all this knowledge, rather than browsing the internet trying to find books and resources to help me develop as the self-taught graphic designer that I am. Been binge watching your videos over the past couple of days and I love it!

Refreshing to hear someone admit that copy needs attention. So many firms and clients set copy as the least important part of a design process. They don't budget for it. Or they just ask the client to supply it. What they fail to realize is that copy IS design. It is a visual component and it's also the UI of an ad, a website, an email, etc. Good copy appeals to the reader by being personable and digestible. Using buzzwords and BS language sinks so many campaigns. Bad copy kills good design. Thanks for the awesome vids, Chris and team! If you ever want to learn more about how copy folds into the design process give me a shout.
