For those that were wondering why the UCDP looked DIM could be because of 2 reasons :
1. Matte Coating might be blocking light intensity vs the Semi-Gloss
2. There's a chance that AUTO LOGO BRIGHTNESS was on 😅😅
I just plugged the PG32UCDP and noticed the logo brightness was on, so I'm sorry for not double and triple checking !
They are both rated with same SDR brightness min and max, with the UCDP having a higher Peak HDR of 1300 vs 1000 on UCDM.

The raised blacks are mainly caused by the QD-OLED panel, not the coating. Even my G80SD has slightly raised blacks compared to WOLED. This is always the case unless the room is PITCH BLACK.

Good stuff. I finally managed to get the PG32UCDM. Loving the vibrant colours. Happy that I moved away from the matte black screen and moved to the semi glossy screen.

Great review && Great comparison. Thank you. I tried the PG32UCDM for a bit but i returned it due to a dead pixel. will probably pick up the PG32UCDP due to the matte coating.

I was looking through my old photos of the monitor & the amount of glare it had was egregious. I'll def be picking up the matte panel.

Guys, I bought 32UCDM, I understood that maximum size of screen I need is 27", we don't have much content for 4k, all available resources are FHD which doesn't look great on 4k set screen(screen resolution set to 4k), it looks like 460p in FHD screen. Screen is great tbh, but would have been awesome if I bought 27".

Great review. Though I wish you would have tested the monitor for work. Like working with documents, presentations and more that is heavy on texts. Most of the people who can buy this are people who work a lot on their computers besides being a gamer, casual or hard core (I'm assuming, since the price is more premium compared to the others), would love to know what would be the experience on seeing how texts appear on this OLED monitor and does it hurt the eyes if you work for more than 6-8 hrs.
