great video, do you know how to remove the latency from the HDMI? I'm using it as a display for my MacBook Pro and the mouse has a little lag

i have the old 7 year old toshiba (non-smart tv) from 2017 and i just turn off the tv speakers and plug the hdmi from the sound bar and intto the mdi 1 (arc) and set turned on the soubdbar and set it to hdmi and it auomatically recognized it!! similar settings but every TV is different!! some you need to set manually and others are automatic!!

Unfortunately even when turned on, it does not allow passthrough of tv volume from plugged in device (Apple TV). I think it is blocked somehow because it does not work on either Toshiba Fire TV I have.

i only have the option to turn hdmi-cec device on or off. nothing pops up with additional options =\

Once I turned it on, I can no longer access the settings, I have no idea what happened :( any ideas?

Well I'm dumb lol, I didnt scroll down far enough and gave up

mine just has that setting as on or off nothing inside hdmi cec just on and off

My Toshiba Fire 50 inch says it's 4K on the box, but the max resolution you can select is 1080P. I think it's a widespread problem with Toshiba. Looks terrible compared to my Hitachi, which auto outputs at 4K.
