Kia ora from New Zealand. Lau Lau, beautiful. Im Niuean/Maori and in our culture we call that dish Palusami. We also add a generous amount of onions and coconut cream before wrapping it up in the taro leaves. I love your Big As Steamer, definitely big enough to feed the whole tribe, but you'll know ay, ya cant beat it cooked in the ground, Hangi / Umu / Luau, that earthy element, OMG, Y'all made me hungry, out to the garden to get some taro leaves, my turn to cook up The Taste of Home....Cheers Guys, All The Best.

I been in Florida for 8 years and been hunting for fresh luau leaves in the Asian stores. No place here has them. But I see we have taro on the sides of the roads every where here. The purple stems. I been thinking about cutting and cleaning the ones on the side of the roads lol.

Looks ono!
