Why am I kinda sad she didn't tap her phone with the "You got this!!" It's so comforting at this point! 😭❤️

I just wanted to say that I listened to all of Erin’s tips for getting into the interview, during the interview and the follow up email. I got the interview last Friday and they called me Sunday to ask me to join the team so I’m so happy that I found these videos. They have helped me out so much. Thanks Erin!!!

I actually make sure to ask MY questions during the first interview, to figure out if the job is right for ME. I feel like that really makes you look (and feel) confident as well.

Hi Erin!! I’ve been following you since about a year ago. I interviewed at a place back in August. I was super excited and knew it was just the next thing in my career. I listened to your advice and I went all the way to the final interview…and I didn’t get it. They reached out in October when a position opened up since they liked me so much from the previous round. And although I went to the final interviews again, the start date did not align with my own and I was getting bad vibes from the person they did end up hiring back in August so I withdrew my application. I was hella depressed thinking I wasn’t gonna find another opportunity. However, after interviewing back in February/March with a different organization, I am happy to share I got the actual dream job that’s next in my career! I truly believe this is the place I need to be with more support and focus on actual life balance. I even negotiated my pay!! You helped me out so much. Thank you for being our cheerleader, and internet and career big sis!!!

As someone currently on the hiring side of things, I can confirm. Great tips! I have looked through hundreds of resumes that look fine. I've interviewed people who can probably do some job tasks. But at the end of the day...we need someone who fits, solves our problems, and makes our jobs easier by being on the team.

Bonus tip: research the company. Don't let it be just another interview you got in the sea of many. Present to the employer that you know what they do and want to be a part of it.

Amen sis I've been on multiple screening interviews and second interviews. And sometimes I don't hear back after the second interview. However the more I practice, I'm starting to get really confident in conveying I'm the right person for the job

As a recruiter I can tell you this is completely accurate, please listen to this advice. It'll save you and the hiring managers time.

Had a great interview this morning. After the facility tour she said she would hire me on the spot but I was the first of 15. She said I should know by early next week. Just wanted to share that. It was a combination of my resume and knowledge of the field. Her being close to my age didn’t hurt either. 😅

I actually had one of the best job interviews because of you! When I got hired, the manger said it was a great interview! And my peers from the peer interview really complimented our meeting. Thank you for all that you do! 🌼

There are tons of great articles about interview questions on first and second round, how to respond to emails, what to look for in a resume. I don't apply to a bunch of jobs, I pick a few places and see where it goes or get an internal referral if possible. Word of mouth jobs can land you a good spot.

Thanks Erin! I’m using your advice as I begin my job search. I’m re-entering the workforce in my late 50’s 😬 and I’m very skilled at anxiety. 😅

And it did! Decompose the process as the Integral: by parts was amazing. Putting in simple words allows us to see the areas to make it great easier! Thanks! 🤗

I just want to say thank you for all these videos and advice. I'm a fresh graduate and currently job hunting and it's nice to seek the advice of a more experienced person especially with all the "You got this" type of encouraging messages.
