Today, Moon discusses Honkai: Star Rail's v2.3 Tier List after the Release of Jade to see where changes have been made in the Meta! Moon discusses the impact of the break meta (Firefly and Ruan Mei), Pure Fiction, and much more! Jade is a Quantum Erudition Character who focuses on gaining stacks to unleash follow-up attacks onto enemies, and she uses her skill on an ally to gain more stacks. This plays a huge part regarding her place in the meta.

personally i think jade is gonna be incredible for long term investment. She also enables anyone to use the HP/CRATE blade set due to her HP drain, which might be a valid point. Other than that, she gets a lot of free stats and her mechanics are gonna get some serious value if we ever get an Erudition/Destruction Unit with a Seele-like extra turn mechanic!

Jade is an absolute monster in Pure Fiction, wish I could get her but I blew all my summons on Ruan Mei and Firefly lol

The thing I like best about the break team, at least right now, is that it's best team is pretty f2p friendly. You get Harmony MC by playing the game, you stand a good chance of getting Gallagher if you pulled on Firefly's banner (I think he was also an option for a free 4 star selector and likely will appear again) and any strategic f2p worth their salt will aim for Ruan Mei, due to her near universal usage. It beats a straight 5 star team (my Acheron's best performance is with all 5 stars, for example). I also love how all the characters kind of uplift each other. With super break and Ruan Mei's buffs, the supports are also dishing damage and breaking. It feels good.

I see a lot of potential with Jade possibly aging like fine wine in MOC solely by the skill buff she provides

problem with Jade is there's a big diference between E0 and E1

Jade T3 for MoC makes sense as they rank characters at E0, Jade really needs her E1 to do things in MoC

I finally got full star in pure fiction thanks to jade + herta combo she is so fun to use also I didn't pull for her lc still she was able to deal so much damage

I actually pulled jade and her lc for the animations(even tho I have herta/himeko/argenti) because they are so smooth and the snake asthetic (i love snakes) and SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT i am so grateful for getting her early since I spent mostly everything on ff
and I think that she will be amazing with sunday when he comes out

I see Jade as a double-down on the Blade gamble. Blade was going to be good once he got a support, which never came. Jade isn't that support but she enables the same thing. If Blade does get his support based around consuming HP, Jade can now enable them on anyone.

Reminds me of Topaz. I E1'd Topaz on her first banner because I saw her future potential while everyone else was calling her mid.

I really want Jade but I am currently waiting for additional info regarding 2.4 rerun banners. Nevertheless, I can imagine that HoYo will introduce more characters that synergize with effects that reduce a characters own HP, and for that reason Jade might become a lot more valuable as an "enabler / amplifier" in future patches. It might be a risky investment though because this could be totally wrong :D

Jade has such an interesting kit! Love her whole "deal with the devil" theme, as well as the big snake. One thing I do wonder is if Hoyo will ramp up the difficulty in PF in the nearish future, there's just no way that they'll let people keep coasting through only investing in Herta and Himeko. It would be the best way to make sure we have reasons to go for future AOE characters at any rate!
That could be cope because I want reasons for pulling her AND Argenti to make sense lol, I love them both.

Been a followup team lover since launch because Jing Yuan. Aventurine added to this, and Robin is the icing on the cake. I love most of the followup attackers as well *not looking at my E7 Clara*

Anyway, really love Jade and I'm glad I got her and her LC painlessly. I decided not to get E1 because I have been using her and she's completely fine without it, people acting like it's "necessary" when it's not are... well it's their opinion. She's good with her LC or with f2p ones as well. She's one of the most fun characters to come out for a while in my opinion. And yeah, I did skip Firefly for her. No regrets :)

Jade’s situation kinda reminds me of Kokomi’s from Genshin Impact where she came out after a very powerful character (Raiden Shogun for Kokomi) and no one batted an eye towards her and said she wasn’t worth it but I pulled for her cuz I liked her aesthetic. However when Dendro came out Kokomi was considered a must have character so I think Jade is more of a future investment and depending on what the kits of the new characters that are coming up soon are after Yunli and Jiaoqiu then she could be perceived in a better light and this is coming for someone who got both her and her Light Cone and is very happy with her results so far.

My favorite team has been Jade Hypercarry with Bronya Robin and Gallagher as the debt collector with Qui Pro Quo, Bronya advancing Gallagher to battery everyone AND let Gallagher ult more often, and that racks up Jade stacks so fast it’s kinda addictive

Of course, Jade is AMAZING for PF, but I think she has a lot of value on hiw future proof she is. Not only is she the new PF queen, but she has a massive 30 point speed buff. I don't think there will be anyone like her for a long while, especially for characters like blade that want to lose a lot of hp.

I did my 1 10 pull just to see if i could fish for either jade or argenti and got jade. Shes extremely mid everywhere but pf and sim universe. Eidolons making characters useful seems so predatory in a game already dominated by 5 stars. Can't really use her much except either with blade or erudition characters but most of those are 5 stars or can't do solid ST damage leaving jade in a tricky position without E1

Argenti being anywhere except T0 for Pure Fiction is the bigger ball drop from Prydwen he obliterates the physical weak side absolutely no question and not even Acheron can match him
