I got stuck in Tutorial Hell for almost 2 years and almost lost my passion for programming completely. With no solid goal or achievements whatsoever. One day I decided “Duck it, imma just build a food order app”. Currently I’m on my first month as a Fullstack Developer. Everything he just said in this video is true. Trust me, just start doing something.

The brutal truth about programming! I'm glad you didn't said that a couple months in programming can put anyone in MAANG.
I'm a web developer. Most of the time, I do frontend but these days I'm more focused on node.js because of my side project.

I've started learning how to code from the beginning 2021. Here are the few things, I don't why I just want to share. These things I've realized and learnt hard way along in my journey from a noob to an intermediate developer.

1) Going slow is the fastest way in tech.
2) Google and documentations are your best friend.
3) Mastering a single language (General purpose programming language) allows you to see the bigger picture in tech.
4) Learning one thing at a time really saves the time in long run.
5) Newly learnt concepts when practiced often helps in retention.
6) Be ready to pay the price and the price is your attention not the money you spend on the new course (I'm serious).
7) Just be curious and grind and grind and okay... you get the idea!

Wait! Don't get yourself burned out!! Take rest and remember tomorrow in an another day. Happy coding :)

Finally, someone said this out loud. I'm tired of conducting interviews of newbies who put ton on their resume after watching some YouTube videos, but fail miserably in basic fundamentals when being asked problem solving questions. Their analytical skills speak for themselves. I too am doing this for 10+ years and I wholeheartedly agree with Mehul. PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE!. There's no other fucking way you'll become a great developer. Period!

I watched this video till the end. It is awesome. I am a MERN stack developer and learning since 2 years still I find some things difficult(like Redux) and I know I can only overcome it by practise. ❤

Practical learning through projects is the only way to become a developer, whether a software developer or a web developer or any other type of developer.

I have been learning to code since April.I watched videos on YouTube, Udemy and even gone through an offline classroom training yet I haven't been able to crack an interview uptil now. The reason behind is I lacked pratice.I tried to learn things fast and practiced very less which caused me to not build the logic needed . And now I am frustrated and tensed and thinking to quit learning programming. I will better have some other job and grow there without wasting my time learning to code and cracking interviews because becoming a good programmer and getting a good IT job requires you to do a lot of practice and it takes a lot time as well.

I feel, no matter which technology you learn and how you learn, you cant get better at it without building something using that technology
