I enjoy all your videos but for some reason this one is my favorite. I enjoyed being a part of your project management discussions. Good luck and thank you!

It is truly a wonderful thing to see the interiors start to take shape! Your plan for the coming months sound good and doable, and it is indeed about time that you had more comforts for yourselves. Purnon is getting the care she needs, but her caregivers also need good care and a comfortable space to be at home and relax.

It's been my observation that your successful handling of this extensive restoration project is due to your excellent communication and organizational skills. You both collaborate effectively and have built a strong rapport with the artisans, and it shows in the results.
On a side note, I have been waiting patiently to see the new shower, and today, we all got a sneak peek into what it's looking like.
Wishing you a wonderful, productive week ahead!

When all the facade work is done, I bet the family’s of all the amazing artisan’s would enjoy coming to see the exquisite work their loved ones have done over the years. I’m sure you’ll have a celebration. This transformation is something out of a fairy tale, except it doesn’t happen with the wave of a magic wand.

I am in awe of your audacity and commitment to undertake such a project. Surely the French must have an award for those determined to save such a heritage site.

What a thrill to see the coasters being made! I was thrilled with my surprise coasters a gift from my husband! They are wonderful and super affordable! It’s wonderful to have a small piece of the Chateau in my home in California!

This is just the video I needed to organize my own [restoration] plans…on a much smaller level. Because prioritizing can be overwhelming. Now. This is an entire chateau…including the surrounding structures and landscape and furniture…and mine is mostly furniture. Puts it all into perspective.

Tim’s smile at the end ….the entire time you are talking about the coming delights of creature comfort and inside work!!!
The best is yet to come!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤

🥰 I'm marveling at your patience this time ...again!

By the way, I love the little vernacular: "the snug."
...perfectly expressive, but it's new to me. I feel warm and cozy just hearing the word. I wish it was easier to get from the US to Australia. What else am I missing?!?!

This video seems particularly educational, because I got impatient just looking over your shoulders! 🫣 As you discussed details, one project at a time, many suggestions jumped to my mind. But at about the fourth mini-project, I realized my sortof industrial instincts would be the wrong move for an 'awakening!' So then I REALLY saw your patience again! 🤯 In contrast to my own lack of it. Way cool, you guys!

... I would gobble up as many of these as you would care to produce, though I hesitate to say that because you obviously had to plan at least several of these dialogues and the transitions, and then tie it all out with your ending summary. But I really enjoyed this.
...Mezmerizing!

As you both know there are a myriad of Chateau channels out there but Chateau Purnon is by far the best we have watched. The mythology, planning and scheduling activity that you undertake is so amazing and it run just like a business, your two bloody Aussie’s are sensational and there is a lot to learn about the task of talking a complete renovation of a derelict Chateau and the way this has been done is purely amazing. Thank you both for the effort, workmanship and professional that you purvey to us and especially the French who will be honoured by what you are doing and have already done. Be safe, take care and God bless 😇🙏🏰🤩

I’ve recently found your restoration project on Facebook. So I know nothing of your background or how on earth you have the knowledge and the tenacity to take this project on but my gosh, you are too special human beings and I love the wonderful footage of the progress, especially when, you’re showing an update on something and moving the cameras slowly so we can actually see the detail in the wallpaper or the detail in something that is falling apart and then going to the window and seeing what a wonderful view that particular room has. Thank you so much for such wonderful dedication and restoration of a heritage that may be lost. You’re both very special. Thank you.

The two of you must now also remember. This building is now water tight which allows you to move ahead with your restoration projects. That makes a huge difference. You will also feel that you are moving forward on the inside of the building. As you move forward and complete your 'listed' projects. You will also feel 'wow' now the inside moves on. Good job you do the 'little' (which is actually not so little) renovations orderly and do not go into overload. ❤ Good luck we love watching.

Wow... It really is taking shape... baby steps eventually evolve into miles!!! For your personal gratification, it's super important to complete some of these spaces for your personal pleasure... You're both definitely very deserving of an "escape space"... It's absolutely gorgeous and is a mind-bogglingly incredible herculean accomplishment to date!!!
You guys are incredible 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Tim and Flick, I know you have shared with us how it is easy to get overwhelmed in the midst of this massive undertaking, but seeing you both meet your projects with such clear headed cooperation is a delight. Clearly you are tackling this love of restoring this "Old Girl" together and equally. Thank you for taking us along on not just the doing, but also in the mapping out and planning of each part of her. We're here cheering you along every step of the way! ❤

I am enjoying this restoration so much, I look forward to all the updates with eagerness! Makes me want to restore something old so badly. I have told so many family and friends about your channel and I cannot wait to see it completed, mind you, that’s many years away still. 😊

Love the music you have chosen for background in the videos. It really adds a lot to the enjoyment when watching your progress.
