I live in Canada. And I hate this bill. Utter insanity. I don’t want Justin Trudeau deciding what’s hate speech. I’ve never voted for him and absolutely never will.

I live in Canada. It's gone to hell so fast. Life is unaffordable, housing has hit record highs in terms of expenses. The "carbon tax" Trudeau applies selectively to provinces he thinks will vote for him. Everyone else has to pay for it. Quebec is a separate province that gets special privileges and exemptions. Additionally Quebec gets out sized political influence. Western Canada has its pipelines cancelled. Gun ownership is insanely regulated and you can no longer buy or sell handguns. You can't transfer them either. Even though all crime is committed with illegally obtained firearms. Speech is tightly policed and you have to register your podcasts with the government. News sites are banned on Facebook as the federal government tried to prop up their failing propaganda outlet with money they tried to essentially steal. Better yet we import roughly a million people a year between students and "refugees" 80% of who go on welfare and stay on it. Driving up housing even more. Our government tells us things are going well and lie to our face. We all hate Trudeau and he's the worst world leader. Oh did I mention that we let Chinese scientists into our level 4 biosafety labs and then proceeded to cover it up to save face? Liberate us or nuke us please.

I'm in Ontario. Last night I mentioned this bill to a bunch of friends. They had no idea. Our drummer actually said, "That can't be real - total clickbait". The bill is terrifying. More terrifying is how completely clued a lot of Canadians are. They're smoking pot and thinking we live in a free country.
