First minus thing was that there no volume +/- I found it.
Circle button up/Down/left/right just hold littlebit longer up or Down and volume control will show

You failed to mention the added benefit of attaching an external usb drive on the Firestick TV lite which is an awesome benefit. That in and of itself is worth the $30. Same processor speed as the 3rd generation firestick TV.

Just keep your TV remote nearby.
