If it is an allen, torx, or certain size philips head, I often use a short torx bit and hammer it into the head; then attach the drill and back it out. The boxes of deck screws I used to buy always came with the proper size torx bit, bit I always had longer bits I liked so I have a small supply of cheap torx bits to use just for this purpose.

Something new i have learnt I yet haven't attempted to take out 1 bolt I'm going to take out so I'm fishing around for as much information and knowledge i can get before my 1st attempt its the only 1 chance i have to remove that bolt, so i stumbled upon your channel and by far your methods are Great i shall try the way you did then if no luck i have the scew/bolt extractor as last resort.

Steel wool worked a treat for me! Thanks. I tore a tiny bit from a cleaning "Brillo pad" under my sink. Boom! Subbed

Hi there, in this demostration its done with a round head screw. Thats always easy to unscrew. How about showing a demonstration where the screw is flat even on the surface. Hope to hear from you soon.

Spent weeks trying to remove screws attached to stainless steel. I tried EZ Outs/Speed Outs, screw extractors, rubber bands, super glue, drill bits, gloves, and the only thing that worked was using a rotary tool with cutter (Harbor Freight $10) to cut a line/slit(Phillips flathead) in the center of the screw so an Impact Driver can hold onto the screw. My screw was too short and the material was very soft. Put painters tape on the screw before using an Impact Driver(Amazon $12). This was the only thing that worked for me. Hope this helps someone out there.
