Had a red Lilly bulb. That things roots worked all the way around my tank (75 gallon). Took it out to separate it, looked like we were pulling the substrate out like a carpet. 🤣🤣

Anubias coffeefolia are my favorites. I ordered one for my shrimp tank. And even when I was having nitrite problems, she was still growing.

So, I killed an anubias. I bought one from the pet store, and the directions on the package said to bury the roots. I buried the roots. It died. I saw an MD Fishtanks vid where he planted anubias correctly, and my replacement anubias is looking good. Ordered it and some java moss from aquarium coop, and they're doing great.

Wow I just got my first tank yesterday, and of course I just started cycling it and haven’t done anything else yet but in the down time I’ve been wondering. “What plants should I get?” And you’ve helped so much! You’ve overall helped me so much in starting my hobby and I want to say thanks!!

I have all of these plants right now except for the red aquarium lily as mine was eaten by a massive Chinese Algae Eater that lived with it. Another plant I would extremely recommend is the Banana Lily. It's root system looks like a bunch of bananas all jumbled together but they can get massive and I've never had problems with growing them

Great selection. I'd recommend all of them along with plants like Valisneria, Bucephalandra or Lobelia.

SAE love Java moss, but ignore Java fern.

Love dwarf sag. It took a while for it to get established and now it’s starting to pop up in other areas

Can you treat your plants with anything to kill off any pests. I've had problems with snail infestations when I've add new plants.

I love Amazon swords. Your videos got me to try other plants and now all of my tanks have live plants. I have found that my Java moss likes to be fluffed regularly or else it wants to die in the middle.

I’m glad I found you and subscribed. Thinking of getting back into fish, it’s been a LOT of years away and simple and enjoying plants sounds like the way I want to enjoy it! Thank you. Already ordered a lot of stuff from you guys. 🙂👍

you forgot the easiest (other than floaters)! Hornwort - grows super fast, great for fry (breeding), relatively inexpensive. 1 hornwort culture will fill your tanks within a few months with plenty extra to sell or give away! Thanks again Cory, my favorite fish channel. Bring me some cool Euro fish back (since you won't ship I figured you could just parachute them to me as you fly over Ohio!)
EDIT: I finally found some really nice blue platies for my blue swordtail project ... didn't pay attention to anything other than how good they looked, bought all 15 they had ... and they are all males ... lmao

I definitely have all those plants... My floating bacopa and red Ludwigia has grown way up out of my tank(s)... I also have put em in HOB's just for the emerged growth... Thanks again Cory and gang for your awesomeness...! Keep it up...!

Golly, Cory! My ONE java fern has exploded into a mass of roots all supporting baby plants. I’ve had to back off the water column feed! A few puny frog bit roots multiplies daily & gets discarded by the handful. With few exceptions every plant received from the Co-Op has thrived.
