You can also hook up a heart or star statue to a 1/4 second timer with some wire once you’ve unlocked the mechanic. They constantly drop mana stars and hearts that you can pick up in the arena

I remember using asphalt for the ground then having occasional grass somewhere in the arena for the sunflowers

If your at the point of the game you're using the blade of grass you should have a cloud in a bottle and a hook so i think the arena should be taller and have more spacing between platforms

You also have to place some solid platforms so that it can block the projectiles

for begginers if your just fighting the eye pre hardmode just make two 100, 200 long platforms with 10, 20 blocks apart and get hermes boots with a grappling hook. and a range weapon. thats it boom you defeated the eye.
