How a hybrid drivetrain works - in under a minute

In this video, a typical hybrid vehicle drivetrain is represented on the ConsuLab EM-200-29 training aid.
This training aid is based on a typical Toyota Prius hybrid vehicle, the trainer provides easy visualization of driveline component operation including:

ICE (Internal Combustion Engine)
MG1 (Motor/generator # 1)
MG2 (Motor/generator # 2)
Drive wheels

The EM-200-29 trainer is designed to have students manually rotate, hold or release each component using hand cranks.

Good Video can you please help me? Customers car is BMW X6 hybrid no start. Here is what’s happening. When I push start button engine will not rotate but I hear electric motor and possible transmission activity. How can that be?

I have a Chevy Tahoe that won’t start because transmission will not spin the engine. The MG1 is spinning inside the transmission but engine will not spin to start the vehicle
