This video doesnt explain anything about how hybrids work. It's just comparing two cars.

What I was able to get from thins video is as fallows
- The Toyota Prius and Ferrari LaFerrari are both hybrids.
- The Prius is a series Hybrid.
- The LaFerrari is a parallel Hybrid.
That's it, nothing more.

A triumph of authority over communication. Less can be more. Cut the jargon and slow the delivery.

I think the best contribution of hybrid cars is not the progress of power in cars but in the clean air, imagine having heavy traffics anywhere where cars will spit out nothing instead of spitting out deadly fumes into the air. Cause I just remembered in China, that is happening now, their air is not free anymore, they have to buy oxygen cans just to have breathable air.

I would like to know, if I'm driving down the freeway with no traffic therefore no need to brake and recharge the HVB would it be a good idea to occasionally move over to the slow lane and apply the brakes to recharge the battery or do you have to come closer to a full stop? If so how often should the brakes be applied in this manner? Also, exactly how much energy do you recapture on a single braking as discribed? If I slow the car down say 10 mph slower than I was going does that convert to X miles of energy?

Are you aware of the title you wrote ?

Unfortunately the fluctuation in your voice from talking to Whispering to talking to a Whispering makes it a bit difficult to gain enough information about having to go back and replay several times

This actually makes me not want to hate them

I'm confused about the difference in engine 1 and engine 2 in the prius. Eng 1 functions as a starter motor, but eng 2 drives the car at startup. Could you perhaps help me out here? (or anyone else?)

Yey. This video does not explain anything about the hybrid engine. Good job 👍

Nice video! Thanks for the info. One little advice: try to keep a constant speech volume (you can probably do the through software). Some parts of your sentences are very loud and others very silent

Couldn't an alternator recharge battery?

But could you have a switch to turn off the engine, and run on battery only? And vice verca?

Might be a stupid question but if an electric car is front wheel drive, why cant the rear wheels be charging the battery at the same time and same rate?

How are Hybrids not the standard or mandatory engine of today's cars? Considering how Volatile the energy sector is, the fact that we do not see hybrid technology being a mandatory feature in today's vehicles is Mental to me, my opinion of course. I hear my peers with similar cars to my Toyota Venza complaining about the price of Gas, and yet call Hybrids lame, all I can do is shake my head.

Okay so I know nothing about any of this stuff, but this is what I expected. I thought the hybrids were just like smaller weaker gas engines that used electricity from a battery to improve the mpg / performance...so my assumption was maybe they had like some sort of supercharger or w/e (forced induction I think they call it?) so I was thinking like there'd be an electric motor pushing air into the gas engine. I guess this doesn't make much sense though unless you can charge your car. I'm thinking the ways they did it were way better, but also I think he did mention around 3:30 that some of the cars did something like this? Idk it's all just super confusing to me lol.

How do you warm up a automatic transmission in a hybrid b4 driving off.
