How to Show What Game You're Playing on Discord

In this tutorial I explain how to show what game you're playing on Discord. To show the game you must have it open and be playing it at the time. Additionally, you will need to turn on the option to display current activity as a status message. You can find this setting in the Activity Privacy Discord settings.

Once turned on, your current game will automatically show on your profile as a status. However, if you're playing a new or lesser known game then it's possible that it won't show. You can manually add a game through the Registered Game settings. This allows you to add any open application as a game, even allowing you to rename it. You can use this to fix incorrect names, or add a custom game name for your Discord status.

You can also choose which games show as a status on your Discord profile. To do this simply toggle the eye icon found next to each game. If the eye icon is grey then the game will show on Discord when you're playing it. However, if it is red with a slash through it then it won't show.

For anyone confused on why the registered games is not appearing, you have to use the APP version of discord and NOT the WEBSITE.

There is an option which shows you in your profile the recent games you have played. A friend of mine has the visible option, but I don't have it, and I have the latest version
