How to Show What Game You're Playing on Discord! Change Activity Status and 'Now Playing'! 2022!

Today I show you how to show other people and friends what game you are playing on discord using your 'now playing' or activity status on discord. This allows you to control and show your status, so when your friends or members of discord servers that you are in are looking at your discord profile they see what game or program you are playing/have open!

For some people discord has rolled out an update that has moved this settings to "Privacy & Safety" inside of user settings! Make sure you check here too, if you don't see "Activity Status"!

This is so frustrating. I have gone to 20 different videos. I don't have an "activity status" when I click the cog. I have "Activity Privacy" and that's it. I am trying to get it so I have an activity status and it will not show up for me.

As of 30/09/2022 'ACTIVITY STATUS' is now under a new tab called 'Activity Privacy'

Thumbs down! This is completely wrong. This will not show game status. The game being played only shows when you delete custom status. When I deleted my custom status, the game I'm playing automatically showed up. That is how to make the game you're playing show. The info in this video will not work. It will not show the game being played. You have to delete custom status to make your game appear.
